Di-Chou graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2011 and has over a decade of experience working with patients recovering from acute injuries and helping them return to work, sport and everyday life. He practiced in New Zealand before relocating to Melbourne in 2023 and joining the team at Preston Physiotherapy.
He has a strong interest in treating lower back, neck, and shoulder pain, as well as nerve-related conditions and acute musculoskeletal injuries. Recently, he has developed a growing focus on supporting clients with chronic pain, aiming to provide lasting solutions through a patient-centred approach.
Di-Chou is a credentialed McKenzie Therapist, using Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) to assess, treat and prevent pain in the spine and extremities, an evidence-based method known for its comprehensive, structured approach. He combines this with manual therapy, targeted exercise and education to guide each client toward better function and confidence in their recovery.
He is fluent in both Mandarin and English and values clear, collaborative communication to ensure clients feel heard and supported.
Outside the clinic, Di-Chou enjoys fishing, playing social badminton and exploring new parts of Melbourne and Australia.
